Neil Gaiman is a name that brings about awe by comic book fans. Writer of the hugely popular and award winning series Sandman, Gaiman has been elevated to pop icon status with his works in novels, comic books, and screenplays. Stardust is the second of Gaiman's work to be made into a movie, with Mirror Mask getting small play and the television series Neverwhere, but Stardust is the first major motion picture to come out written by Gaiman. It stars a cast of fine actors such as Claire Danes, Ricky Gervias, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Rupert Everett, and Peter O'Toole. The film is set to release on August 10th.
