Definition: The grade of a comic book is its condition. There are different systems used by different price guides and grading companies. The two basic systems consists of a number scale from one to ten such as the CGC uses and the other is a using terms such as follows:

Mint
Near Mint
Very Fine
Fine
Very Good
Good
Fair
Poor
